Application Operations Manager

Our client, a renowned global group of life-saving technology companies, is seeking an adept IT Operations Manager to spearhead the management of its business applications. As the IT Operations Manager for Business Applications, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our company's business applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will lead a team of skilled professionals and work closely with vendors to manage service level agreements (SLAs), implement changes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role presents a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the technology landscape of our organization and driving innovation to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for managing and supporting the company's business applications.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all business applications, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and other key systems.
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to SLAs to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for strategic investments to support business growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT operations management, with experience in managing business applications.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of business application systems, including ERP, CRM, and other key platforms.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts, with a focus on SLA management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
