About the role:

This role is a fixed term contract for approx. 15 months. This role is to manage the procurement requirements via daily reports in accordance with procedures and contractual agreements whilst maintaining optimal stock levels.The majority of time spent is parts procurement including managing all other related associated administration, ensuring that the correct stock / inventory levels are ordered and held for all customers in the timeliest and cost-effective method.

Responsibilities

  • Administer purchase of minor kits in accordance with agreed procedures and contractual requirements, and all other associated administration
  • Administer purchase of corrective / transactional parts capturing current demand / stock replenishment through daily reports (standard and nonstandard stock) in accordance with agreed procedures and contractual requirements, and all other associated administration
  • Liaise and work closely with the parts team, analysing current demand / emergency requests. Ensuring parts are ordered in the most efficient and cost-effective method.
  • Analysing committed parts on MSA agreements v current demand / current stock levels to pro-actively identify contract amendments that may be required.
  • Analysis stock trends, including regular review of reorder points if required.
  • Analysis of overstock
  • Management of MSA / CSA kits
  • Manage the process of Superseded parts.


Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills


  • General understanding of inventory management and procurement processes
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good communication skills
