Principal Consultant

The Opportunity

We are searching for a Principal Consultant who has the natural confidence and proven experience in networking and building relationships across large and complex clients. You will partner with a team of consultants to design and deliver tailored solutions which could include Leadership Assessment and Development programmes, compromising of one-to-one interventions as well as large scale transformational projects. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of their subject matter, along with an appetite for business development and the growing of client accounts.

You will own a portfolio of our largest and most complex clients and be passionate about partnering with senior clients and stakeholders to deliver solutions which solve a wide range of business challenges.

The Role

The Principal Consultant is accountable for the overall client relationship and will manage a portfolio of clients creating and developing long term business relationships which deliver:

·        Exceptional client satisfaction

·        Continued client growth

·        Retention of existing business

·        Development of new business opportunities

This would be through:

·        The design and delivery of solutions ensuring that the client’s needs are met, and the value realised

·        Acting as a strategic partner to clients, spotting opportunities to grow and enhance the relationship driving revenue, profit and client satisfaction

·        Effective programme management and reporting, working with your project manager

·        Briefing and ensuring effective delivery in your clients through a team of consultants

·        Taking the most senior delivery role to set the standard and work with the first or most senior teams and individuals

·        Utilising your own network and personal profile within the marketplace to generate new business opportunities

·        Bringing your subject matter expertise to our business development team to support them in the creation of solutions and winning bids for new clients

·        Staying connected and curious about the world we inhabit and bringing that thinking to us and your clients

·        Mentoring and coaching other members of the consulting team

The Person

·        You will have previous experience of managing large clients either in a professional services consultancy or have worked in a large business in a people related role at a senior level

·        You have a proven track record of designing and delivering large scale assessment programmes for different levels of leaders (with specific experience assessing at senior leader and Exec levels) and experience of influencing and aligning challenging stakeholder groups

·        You will have significant Leadership Assessment and Development experience

·        An established high level of consultancy and coaching skills gained internally or externally

·        You will be curious, well networked and love to bring new insight and knowledge to both our clients and the wider Kiddy team

·        You will be a chartered Occupational psychologist registered with the BPS and HCPC
