Role: Paid Social Manager - Sports
Position Overview:
The Paid Social Manager will develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to enhance online presence and increase engagement. This will be focusing on a big sporting event that is happening soon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing goals and objectives.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written, and audio) across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social, and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with campaigns and promotions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our social media presence.
- Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, and performance tracking.
- Foster relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our reach and impact.
- Manage and oversee social media content creation and ensure content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
- Coordinate with other departments (sales, customer service, etc.) to ensure brand consistency and support broader company goals.
What we need:
- Sports marketing experience - preferably with experience working on sporting events
