Position Description:

  • Conduct complex design analysis using CAE software.
  • Address customer needs for Occupant and Restraints systems, contributing to enhanced product designs.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions, adapting to project needs and changes.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CAE project database and participate actively in design reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards in design, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and with customers, providing essential design guidance and project support.


Skills Required:

  • Experience with solvers like LS-Dyna, Abaqus is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Pre-Processors such as ANSA, Primer; and Post-Processors like ANIMATOR, META, Hypergraph, HyperView.
  • Proficient in operating systems including basic Linux and Windows.
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong team player with proactive and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is a must.


Education/Experience:

  • Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of restraint systems, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Proven experience in occupant safety within the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and communicate effectively.
