Company Description

Cataphract Screening and DBS checks is a security vetting company established in 2003 that provides screening to BS:7858, CTC and SC cleared levels. We are proud to be a family run business that is based in Wendover, Bucks however will look at someone remote.


Role Description

This is a full-time Reference Administrator role with flexibility for remote work. The Reference Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the administration and completion of reference checks.


Training Provided

 

  • Training on the rules and regulations of Pre-employment Screening and DBS Check.
  • How to use our custom build screening and criminal record check software.

 

Position

  • Contact and verify employment references for job applicants.
  • Review and verify information provided by references to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain confidential records of reference checks and store in a secure manner.
  • Communicate with HR and hiring managers to provide updates on reference checks and resolve any issues.
  • Manage inbound phone and email queries on the vetting applications.
  • Assist with any other tasks or projects that the Managing Director requests.

 

Skills

  • IT skills including a good understanding of Microsoft Office packages (incl. Word, Excel & PowerPoint) to use various software and databases, such as Microsoft Office, to support the vetting process.
  • Administration skills.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders, conduct interviews, and provide feedback to the Vetting Manager.
  • Organisational skills to manage the process efficiently and effectively, and to maintain accurate and secure records.
  • Ability to prioritise.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the relevant policies, procedures, and legislation including the Data Protection Act.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information


Experience in the security screening or DBS industry is a plus.
