Technology M&A Director – Lead and Expand Our Technology Practice


Alexander Ash Consulting are working with a boutique consultancy who are seeking an accomplished Technology Transformation Director to lead and grow thier technology M&A practice, focusing on digital transformation, value creation, and technology due diligence.


This role is crucial in solidifying their position as a leader in the technology deals and value creation market, driving growth, and delivering innovative, high-value solutions to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Due Diligence: Evaluate the technical aspects of potential deals, identify and mitigate technology risks, and ensure alignment with business strategies.
  • Post-deal Digital Transformation: Lead transformative technology initiatives, applying trends such as AI, Big Data, and RPA, with a pragmatic approach to best practices.
  • Business Development: Drive the growth of the technology practice through business development, leveraging a strong external network and identifying new opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior clients, providing strategic advice and communicating complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.


Skills required:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in professional services / consulting, ideally in digital transformation and value creation. Experience in IT/technology due diligence, carve-outs, and private equity is essential.
  • Leadership: Must be a strong leader, adept in managing teams and proven line management experience.
  • Attributes: Commercial drive, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
