Insight Investment is looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team in London. In this role, you will predominantly support the Financial Analysis team with a focus on KPI reporting, Management Information and Revenue hedging.


Role Responsibilities

Business KPI reporting

  • Lead the key KPI (AUM, flows, AR, ANNR) reporting to ensure accurate, timely and complete weekly and monthly reporting
  • Lead on control and governance initiatives liaising with the Data Management Office (DMO) and Corporate Product Teams (CPT)
  • Develop, monitor, and improve process KPIs to ensure systems are up to date with the relevant business inputs where required
  • Promptly investigate and help resolve any data issues


Management Information

  • Lead on producing MI deliverables for C-suite executives
  • Assist in reviewing management information produced by other members of the team
  • Pro-actively develop and improve automated MI using Tableau
  • Create workflows using Tableau prep to amalgamate large datasets
  • Develop automated control and governance processes using Tableau to ensure accurate translation of data between systems
  • Lead on the transition of management reporting into Tableau from legacy systems such as QlikView
  • Support internal stakeholders on ad hoc queries where required


Revenue Hedge

  • Lead on the preparation of calculating our revenue hedge P&L as well as associated MI for the monthly Hedging Oversight Committee (HOC) meetings
  • Pro-actively manage and contribute to the actions from C-suite executives following the HOC meetings
  • Become the point person for all queries associated with revenue hedging


Experience Required

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Degree, 2.1 minimum
  • Strong academic background
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups etc)
  • Previous experience using Tableau or similar BI tools
