Role Overview


We're seeking a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join our mobile game development team. The ideal candidate will combine creative vision with technical understanding to craft intuitive, engaging user experiences for our game.


Responsibilities:


  • UI/UX Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive UI/UX strategy that aligns with the game's vision and objectives.
  • UI Design: Create user interfaces that are visually stunning, intuitive, and user-friendly.
  • UI Implementation & UX Optimization: Manage UI implementation in-game, including asset management and optimization.
  • Graphic Asset Creation: Assist in creating graphical assets and collaborate with artists and illustrators to ensure alignment with the game's art style.
  • Unity Integration: Use your experience with Unity to seamlessly integrate UI elements and assets into the game engine, ensuring flawless and efficient functionality.
  • Collaboration: Effectively communicate design ideas to various teams, including game designers, artists, programmers, and QA testers. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to achieve designs that meet market and project goals.
  • Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for UI/UX design guidelines, best practices, and technical specifications to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor and address UI/UX issues and bugs to deliver a polished, error-free user experience.
  • Continuous Learning: Benchmark competitors and extract key insights that enhance your game’s UI/UX design.


Requirements:


  • A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design expertise—please include links to your work.
  • Solid professional experience as a UI Artist.
  • Experience developing in a game engine, ideally Unity.
  • Proficiency in Unity and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with Adobe XD, Protopie, After Effects, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong visual design skills, particularly in color theory, layout, and typography.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Ability to present designs and communicate solutions effectively to various stakeholders. Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • A strong desire to expand your knowledge and enhance your UI/UX skill set.
  • Passion for games and mobile gaming.


Pluses:


  • Experience designing for iOS, Android, or other mobile platforms.
  • Experience in UI animation, including transitions and VFX.
  • Experience leading UX Research.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, C#, etc.)
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
