Your expertise in video editing and understanding of social media trends will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and engaging our target audience.

The client now has some of the UK’s most exciting automotive brands in-house, including automotive platform Mr JWW, and a collection of luxury automotive brands, including some of the most well-known worldwide.


Role Responsibilities


  • Video Editing Short Form: Edit and assemble raw video footage into captivating, attention-grabbing short-form portrait orientation videos suitable for different social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter).
  • Video Editing Long Form: Edit and assemble raw footage in to longer form videos for YouTube - the ability to progress a story through the edit, correctly identify the right B-roll to apply to a given scene. Identifying unnecessary shots and the confidence to cut footage not important to the story. Proficient in cutting to music.
  • Content Ideation: Collaborate with the media and marketing teams to brainstorm and conceptualise video ideas that are on brand and engaging.
  • Social Media Optimisation: Ensure that video content is optimised for each platform, considering factors such as aspect ratio, video length, captions, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Stay Updated on Trends: Stay abreast of current social media and video trends, constantly seeking innovative approaches to keep content fresh and competitive.
  • Work with the production and marketing teams to maximise all videography for your audience
  • Be a fully collaborative member of the Production Bunker team, attending regular meetings and contributing ideas
  • Stay relevant by understanding the latest social media and digital trends and developments


Essential skills

  • 3 + years of experience within Video Editing
  • Knowledge and understanding of the automotive social media industry and how to attract a following via content
  • Proficient in Video Editing Software: Demonstrated expertise in using industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Social Media Savvy: In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their video requirements, trends, and best practices.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage video editing projects to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with across teams and incorporate feedback.
  • Portfolio: A diverse portfolio showcasing previous video editing work, especially with a focus on social media content
  • Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.


Desirable skills

  • Graphics and Effects: The ability to Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, animations, and special effects would be a welcome skill.
  • Analytics: The ability to monitor the performance of video content on social media channels, analyse viewer engagement, and use insights to improve future content strategies would be a welcome value add.
