**Recite is a SaaS product used by thousands of students, academics, authors, and editors worldwide to check their academic work. We're already improving and simplifying the writing process for more than 100,000 users globally, but now want to ensure that every academic writer has access to our fantastic innovative product. That's where you come in.**

Put simply, Recite allows authors (and editors) of academic work (essays, theses etc.) to easily check their documents for referencing related issues. In a matter of seconds Recite gives a clear report of issues, which would take several hours to compile manually.

Behind the scenes, 4cite Labs are a small, dedicated team with a mission to create innovative software tools in the academic software space. Whilst 4cite Labs is technically a start up, the team have 20+ years’ experience in developing innovative software solutions.

We see Recite as a key tool that every university globally should be offering to its students - enhancing their learning experience with our service. The potential for growth is therefore huge.

Following a lengthy beta testing phase and an extremely positive first year, we're looking to grow the team and are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to help us grow our customer base of the product and raise awareness of the product/brand within the education sector.

**Duties and requirements**:

- Research and create engaging content that attracts the target market.
- Produce video/written content (eg. how-to tutorials) that ensure the customer gets the best value from the product (and aid retention).
- Manage the brand on social platforms and produce regular relevant content that drives engagement.
- Extend/develop our onboarding process to ensure users get the most from the product (and improve conversion/retention rates from this).
- Explore offline marketing opportunities, producing marketing collateral and attending events where necessary.
- Liaise with customers to understand their need - to improve our product/marketing messaging (and future product development).
- Regularly review/analyse effectiveness of marketing tasks/activity and overall conversion metrics.
- Assisting directors with system and operational efficiencies and ideas.
- Preparing reports (on growth, leads, sales etc.) to facilitate decision making and planning.
- Being a valued contributor to the development and growth of the Company and product offering - every employee will be part of our shared growth plan.
- Excellent proficiency in Office software, with some experience with databases.
- Excellent written and verbal English language.
- Proven experience in digital marketing.
- Excellent knowledge across all social media platforms.
- Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Experience as Digital Marketing Executive or Similar Role.
- Experience in creating compelling content for a range of audiences.
- Excellent time keeping and ability to manage own workload.
- Comfortable with working on your own but also as a member of the team.
- An innovative and enthusiastic self-starter who thrives when using their own initiative and ideas.
- Good with numbers (and statistics) (for accurate reporting etc.).
- A creative mindset especially with regards to marketing and learning new trends in a digital world.
- Enjoys working with a diverse range of customers to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
- Strong attention to detail - our software points out the tiny mistakes so we like the team to be equally focused on the detail.

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in (or marketing to) the education sector.
- Experience with marketing software products or services.
- Experience of, or exposure to, academic writing and referencing.
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop or other design software.

**On offer**:

- Flexible hours to work round your commitments.
- £28 - £30K full time or pro rata if working less than 37.5 hours a week.
- Hybrid working - minimum two days in the office.
- Open-plan office with free on-site car parking.
- 20 days holiday, plus one extra day for each full year service (up to 25 days) + public holidays.
