Location: London, UK
Reports to: Head of Finance
Zeren are partnering with a confidential cosmetics distributor, who are growing steadily off the back of the global cosmetics market being in overall growth. They are reaching a tipping point, where a significant growth event is about to happen that will transform the business.
They are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to add to their transforming function. The role will be instrumental in driving their, preparation for a significant growth event. You'll be driving improvement across, reporting, commercial finance and team management.
Senior Finance Manager
ROLE & REMIT
- Prepare and evolve internal periodic and ad hoc financial reporting including month end board packs, cashflow forecasting, KPI reporting framework, commercial analysis
- Review and manage the forecast, budgeting and strategic planning processes
- Review and manage the month-end process and year end processes
- Prepare information for the year end audit and manage the auditor relationship
- Prepare financial information and statutory filings as required by internal and external stakeholders eg HMRC, VAT, board and shareholders,
- Perform ‘deep dive’ analysis to understand the revenue and cost drivers and identify risks and opportunities
- Business partner various departments across the business to support delivery against budget, delivery of company strategy, deliver on ad-hoc analysis, provide guidance and challenge
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities as they present – in terms of efficiencies across the business so that costs are well understood and managed across the business
- Support work on risk, insurance, tax, treasury, strategy and KPI metrics for credit control
- Deputising for the Head of Finance as required, from time to time
- Manage, train and review work performed by the management accountants to ensure quality of output
- Assist Financial Controller, Head of Finance and other senior members of the finance team on other items, as requested from time to time
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Fully Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with post qualification experience in industry, ideally with experience in comparable financial management roles
- Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable manipulating data to provide accurate and insightful reporting
- Experience of working with general ledger systems, ideally Intact IQ
- Experience managing at least 1 direct report
