Responsibilities:

As a Specification Manager, you will:

  • Build and manage relationships with architects, specifiers, and contractors to promote the comprehensive range of flat roofing and waterproofing products.
  • Identify and secure product specifications for upcoming projects in the commercial and residential sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to ensure alignment on project goals and market strategies.
  • Conduct CPD presentations and provide product training to industry professionals, showcasing technical knowledge and building trust.
  • Monitor project pipelines, providing regular updates on progress, targets, and opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand the company market presence and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Deliver exceptional technical support and advice to clients, ensuring the best roofing solutions for their specific needs.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Specification Manager role within the roofing or construction industry, with a focus on flat roofing or waterproofing systems.
  • Strong understanding of the UK construction market, particularly roofing and building envelope solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with architects, contractors, and specifiers.
  • Skilled at delivering CPD seminars and presenting technical information with confidence.
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales and specification targets.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and proactive with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
