The Role:

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Senior Medical Writer to join Virtual Science AI’s QA/QC team. Virtual Science AI partners with leading pharmaceutical companies, providing AI-driven insights and analytics to senior life science stakeholders, supporting their strategic direction and stakeholder interactions. This role is perfect for AI enthusiasts eager to harness the power of AI to deliver value to clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

As Virtual Science AI’s Senior Medical Writer, you will play a critical role in our QA/QC processes, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, medical-grade insights. You will also engage directly with clients to identify trends and challenges, guide strategic discussions, and work closely with internal technical teams to ensure impactful outcomes. Your responsibility will include managing multiple projects, reviewing and approving reports, and collaborating across teams to ensure excellence in all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Development with Clients:

  • Leverage your deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry to identify key trends and challenges.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with clients to help shape their direction and navigate market complexities.
  • Serve as a bridge between the pharmaceutical industry and our technical teams, including data scientists and AI practitioners, to uncover insights and deliver impactful reports.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the management of multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
  • Prioritize projects effectively, balancing client needs with internal resources.
  • Ensure projects are executed to the highest standards, with clear communication and collaboration across teams.

Review and Approve Reports:

  • Meticulously review insight reports, ensuring adherence to our rigorous quality and accuracy standards.
  • Ensure all reports follow standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to continuously enhance the quality of our deliverables.



Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of its challenges and trends.
  • Demonstrated success in a strategic role, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level clients.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and approving reports.
  • Experience working with data scientists and AI practitioners is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in medical writing within the life sciences industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
