Vanloq are seeking a talented ION Solutions Developer to join our financial services client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ION. In this role, you will collaborate with global IT teams, work closely with business stakeholders, and play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions for our clients Fixed Income Rates and Credit Client Trading platform.


Role Requirements:

  • Develop effective solutions for key business challenges using ION tools and technologies.
  • Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, translating them into clear technical specifications.
  • Lead and manage UAT sessions, provide demonstrations, and collaborate with stakeholders for feedback.
  • Work closely with global IT teams to deliver integrated solutions and enhancements.
  • Support production operations, including assisting with rollouts and ongoing system maintenance.


Your Experience and Skills:

  • Extensive expertise with ION platform components such as ION Core, AQ, and NegLib (minimum 5 years of experience).
  • Proficiency in ION MMI (minimum 5 years of experience).
  • Strong knowledge of pricing and trade execution using ION tools (e.g., PXE).
  • Solid understanding of trading workflows and integration with trading venues (e.g., Bloomberg, TradeWeb).
  • Strong skills in Unix/Linux and SQL for troubleshooting and development.
  • Experience working in agile teams and environments.
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous integration tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl.
  • Familiarity with Java-based integrations on the ION platform.
  • Experience integrating ION with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
