Vanloq are looking for a highly experienced and versatile Senior Solutions Designer for our financial services client with a strong background in solution design and project leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering large-scale projects, particularly in Java Full Stack engineering, data analysis, automation, and cloud-based data solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of modern data engineering practices, regulatory compliance, and a strategic approach to technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end solution design and implementation for complex, large-scale projects, especially within the Banking & Financial Services sector.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Java Full Stack engineering.
  • Architect and implement data-driven solutions using various tools and technologies, including data analysis and lineage tools (e.g., Infomap).
  • Develop robust, scalable data pipelines utilizing StreamSets, Kafka, APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Design and oversee database solutions involving RDBMS, NoSQL, open-source, and proprietary databases.
  • Deliver technology solutions using automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Lead the implementation of Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, with hands-on experience in tools like Camunda and Pega.
  • Architect case management solutions involving complex business rules and workflows.
  • Drive the development of risk-based scoring models using data analytics to support decision-making processes.
  • Identify critical data for enhancing operational efficiency and meeting regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Implement data control frameworks focusing on data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards for data retention and accessibility.
  • Design and deploy cloud-based data solutions, leveraging both public and private cloud infrastructures.
  • Lead engineering efforts in elastic data search capabilities and data streaming using tools like StreamSets and Kafka.
  • Explore and implement AI and ML patterns to enhance automated decision-making within business workflows.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to manage projects, promoting a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on solution design and architecture.
  • Proven experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
