The role:

  • The Senior Procurement Manager will have full ownership for all marketing and commercial buying category indirect procurement activities.
  • As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of the indirect procurement function within the UK business.
  • This is an exciting Senior Procurement Manager role where you will be responsible for coaching and developing one direct report.
  • Responsibilities of the successful Senior Procurement Manager include responsibility of the UK spend in Marketing, Events and Exhibits, Trade Marketing, and Commercial spends.
  • The Senior Procurement Manager role will support the CFO with any ad-hoc procurement projects.
  • As the Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all business requirements.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for all 360-degree indirect procurement activity within the UK. This includes full ownership of the UK sourcing plan, reviewing all purchase requisitions, completing vendor due diligence, building strong supplier relations, and looking for opportunities for continuous improvement.


Ideal candidate:

  • You will be an independent thinker and can work in a complex matrix organisation.
  • The ideal candidate will have high levels of personal integrity and accountability – leading by example.
  • You will be a strong leader, helping to support and develop your direct report.
  • Experience working within in the indirect procurement channel is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of the ‘procure to pay’ process is essential, alongside experience working with purchase requisition orders.
