Main Purpose of JobThe Senior Recruitment and Onboarding Partner plays a key strategic role in shaping and delivering effective recruitment and onboarding across Innovus. Working closely with the Head of HR and senior leaders, the role designs and implements recruitment strategies aligned with both immediate and long-term workforce needs. It drives talent attraction through diverse sourcing channels, proactive engagement, and inclusive hiring practices, while enhancing employer brand and candidate experience. The role also oversees onboarding activities, including conducting weekly calls with new starters to ensure a smooth transition into the business. In addition, it supports and upskills hiring managers, maintains strong stakeholder relationships, and manages agency usage and financial control. With responsibility for managing a Resourcing Partner, the role ensures balanced workloads, service excellence, and continuous improvement through data analysis, benchmarking, and process optimisation. Main ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Strategy: Partner with the Head of HR and senior leaders to develop and implement recruitment strategies that meet both immediate and long-term talent needs.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with the Head of HR, senior leaders, and hiring managers to understand recruitment priorities and align hiring plans with business objectives.Talent Attraction & Sourcing: Leverage multiple recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events to attract high-calibre candidates. Actively promote inclusive hiring and Innovus’ diversity goals.Candidate Experience & Onboarding: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding. Run weekly welcome calls with new colleagues and ensure onboarding materials and presentations are kept up to date.Employer Branding: Manage and enhance Innovus’ employer brand, including maintaining Glassdoor presence, responding to feedback, and ensuring brand messaging aligns with organisational values.Hiring Manager Support: Upskill and support hiring managers in interview techniques, inclusive hiring practices, and provide constructive candidate feedback.Continuous Improvement & Data Analysis: Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, implement best practices, and use data to inform decisions and drive efficiency.Financial Control & Agency Management: Oversee agency usage, ensuring cost-effective recruitment, particularly for entry-level roles, and maintain an up-to-date Preferred Supplier List (PSL).Team Management: Manage the workload and objectives of the Resourcing Partner, ensuring service standards are maintained and workloads are balanced.Events & Travel: Attend job fairs across the UK and travel to all Innovus offices (New Milton, Croydon, London, Worcester, Torquay) as required.Benchmarking: Keep abreast of market trends and benchmark recruitment practices to ensure Innovus remains competitive in attracting talent.Experience:Proven experience in in-house recruitment across diverse business areas.Strong people management and leadership skills, with experience overseeing recruitment teams.Expertise in developing and delivering talent attraction and onboarding strategies.Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management at all levels.Knowledge of inclusive hiring practices and promoting a positive candidate experience.Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.Confident in process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and vendor management.Technical & Interpersonal Skills:People-focused: strong interpersonal skills and a natural “people person” who can build relationships across all levels.Presentation & Delivery: confident in delivering presentations, facilitating workshops, and leading recruitment-related sessions.Technical proficiency: skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and other MS Office tools for reporting, presentations, and data analysis.Recruitment systems: experience using ATS and CRM tools to manage candidate pipelines and recruitment processes; experience with Eploy is an advantage.Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders effectivelyWorking at Innovus:At Innovus, we recognise that people come to work to do a great job, and we actively support this through our internal employee reward platform and a culture that celebrates contribution.We’re passionate about helping our people grow and progress, and we encourage ongoing personal and professional development.
