A multinational manufacturing giant have a rare opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join their north UK region. Specialising in woodworking machinery, this role offers ample career progression and an industry leading commission structure.


Ideally suited to an ambitious sales professional with experience across woodworking machinery this opportunity will lead across business development and account management for a prestigious portfolio of world leading products. Supported by a high calibre technical team and reporting into senior stakeholders this role will drive the sales strategy whilst offering excellent benefits and fully remote working. A role not to be missed


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure quarterly sales targets are met and exceeded on wood brands
  • Meeting with clients and leading on presentations and supporting demonstrations
  • Able to solve client problems and advise on decision making process
  • Collect and analysis market intelligence ensuring market knowledge
  • Liaise with the Brand Sales Mangers to update the progress of existing orders
  • Maintain consistent understanding on the condition of the opportunities
  • Understand demonstration machines within the Tech Centre


The successful candidate:

  • Experience within Woodworking Machinery is essential, either in a sales or technical capacity
  • Significant experience working with world class manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of mechanics / electronics related to industrial machinery
  • Self motivated, driven and a real desire to succeed
  • Excellent communicator


This role will be remotely based with travel across the north of the UK as required.
