We’re seeking up to three certified Oliver McGowan trainers with learning disabilities to lead important training sessions on neurodiversity and inclusion.


Role: Certified Oliver McGowan Trainer

Contract Type: Zero-hour

Pay Rate: £200 per session

What You’ll Do

As a trainer, you’ll use your lived experience to educate and inform others. Your sessions will offer insights into supporting neurodivergent and learning-disabled individuals at work, helping employers implement effective inclusion strategies.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead training sessions on neurodiversity and inclusion, bringing a unique perspective through your own experiences and Oliver McGowan certification.
  • Address participant questions to help them understand and implement inclusive practices.
  • Stay informed on best practices in neurodiversity and workplace inclusion to keep training sessions relevant.


Qualifications


  • Certification: Must be a certified Oliver McGowan Trainer
  • Lived Experience: Must have a learning disability
  • Skills:
  • Clear and confident communication
  • Ability to engage with diverse groups
  • Education/Experience: While specific educational backgrounds aren’t required, experience in public speaking or previous training experience is a plus.

Hiring Process Timeline


  • Interviews: Scheduled for November.
  • Start Date: Work can begin as early as November, with flexibility to start anytime between November and January based on training availability.
