  • Salary circa £57k per annum, incl shift premium, overtime also available at x 1.5 and x 2 to further enhance earnings. Bonus is also available in addition

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Team Leader will lie in the following areas:

  • Managing the assignment of either electrical or mechanical workload to x 2 engineers as part of the shift maintenance team
  • They will bolster their team and engineering capabilities to deliver plant improvements and increased efficiencies across their manufacturing lines.
  • Undertaking improvement projects working closely with central project teams
  • Deputising for the engineering manager when required
  • Responsible for subcontractor management and safety
  • Responsible for identifying and eliminating recurring plant issues through engineering improvements - RCA
  • Responsible for driving improved plant reliability through best practice - CMMS

We welcome applications from individuals who have experience as a Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Shift Manager, Maintenance Shift Manager, Engineering Team Leader, Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Electrician etc

Experience and Qualifications Required from Maintenance Team Leader:

  • Engineering qualified level 3 or equivalent qualification - Electrical Engineering/Electrical Maintenance
  • Strong Environmental Health and Safety awareness
  • PLC fault finding experience is highly desirable, further Siemens S7 training will also be provided
  • Knowledge of improving maintenance practices
  • Previous experience of undertaking maintenance within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of the development and application of PPM activities - including CMMS
