The role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key, national dealership accounts such as Bunzl, Alliance, Brakes, Nisbets and Brakes, and national end users such as hotel & restaurant chains.

Networking throughout the accounts, you will be targeted with generating new business & growth within the existing client base, by identifying additional decision makers & staying in regular communication with key stakeholders, such as MD's, Buyers, Marketing, Senior Management teams and wider sales teams such as BDM's and NAM's, to ensure that their range of high end, commercial, food preparation equipment, is at the forefront of their minds when speaking to their clients, and that they are up to speed with any promotions or campaigns that are underway.

Developing and nurturing excellent relationships with the client base will be the key focus, and taking time to visit these accounts, training their salespeople on how to use the products, & attending meetings with them to deliver demonstrations to potential end users will also be a big part of this role. In addition, developing strategic account plans to include creative selling opportunities and annual marketing plans that drive sales and achieve targets.

The Person:

The profile we are looking for to take on this exciting opportunity will...

- Currently be working at National Accounts/Key Accounts level - managing a portfolio of National customers

- Have prior experience selling into either National Dealerships i.e. Bunzl, Nisbets, Brakes or currently work for one of these entities as a NAM/KAM

- Have ideally previously sold capital equipment

- Be a strong, critical thinker who can demonstrate a solid understanding of a structured sales process and articulate what that looks like

- Demonstrate a consultative, solution-based sales style

- Show that they are an agile communicator with the ability to adapt their style to conversations at all levels - from ASM's/Chefs to Director level

- Possess strong relationship building skills, be confident, have an outstanding work ethic, and be happy to work for a business where they will have to get involved with all aspects of the business and across the various functions.
