Your new company
Hays Recruitment are proud to be supporting a Widnes based secondary school that is easily accessible via public transport as they are looking to appoint a motivated and experienced teaching assistant to deliver literacy interventions and boosters to SEN pupils across KS3 and KS4 (Key stage). This is a long-term temporary contract.
Your new role
In your new role within this school you will be supporting pupils with SEN within a resource base on a 1:1 and group basis. You will work alongside the class teacher and 1:1 teaching assistant assistants to offer a stimulating and engaging learning environment and offer intense interventions and boosters in literacy. As well as offering intervention and booster sessions in literacy, you will offer additional sessions in all other core subjects as required, ensuring that all pupils reach their full academic potential.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as recent referenceable experience in a relevant position, as well as:
  • Extensive experience holding intervention and boosters
  • Experience supporting SEN
