Your Impact

You will be the cornerstone of ensuring operational excellence, driving innovations in plant maintenance and engineering processes that directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our production lines. Your role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality across all engineering activities. By leading from the front, you will be making a direct impact on the company's ability to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals to our customers. Your leadership will ensure that our production facilities are not just meeting but setting industry standards for innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engineering Excellence and Innovation: Lead the engineering and maintenance activities to ensure high operational efficiency and reliability of all food processing equipment. Drive innovations and improvements within the factory, focusing on advanced maintenance practices and the integration of new technologies.
  2. Strategic Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance program using the shire and ppm system, ensuring that maintenance activities are proactive rather than reactive and aligned with our operational goals.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Site Manager, Production, and Health and Safety teams to ensure seamless operations. Your collaborative efforts will ensure that engineering practices support and enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  4. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain readiness for audits, demonstrating adherence to the highest standards of regulatory compliance and quality control.
About You:

Experienced Leader: You have a proven track record in engineering management within the food manufacturing or FMCG sectors, with a strong emphasis on electrical engineering, automation, and maintenance strategies.
Strategic Thinker: You possess the ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, ensuring plant efficiency and operational excellence.
Collaborative Communicator: You have excellent communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels, driving collaborative efforts towards common goals.
Proactive Problem Solver: Your approach is characterized by a proactive stance on problem-solving, contingency planning, and risk management, with a knack for innovative and practical solutions.
