Accounts Assistant
Southampton
The Role:
Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team at our Head Office in Southampton. . This is a full time, office-based role and the working hours are 09:00 – 17:00.
We are keen to receive applications from individuals with a background of working within an accounts team, either part or fully AAT qualified.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
* Oversee Month End Closures
* Preparation of VAT Returns and VAT Submissions
* Preparation of the Monthly Financial Accounts for various companies within the Trant group
* Oversee company credit card transactions
* Year end accounts preparation and audit queries
* Support various teams within the finance department as and when required
Key Skills/Background:
* AAT Qualified (part or full)
* Previous experience of working within an accounts role
* Able to work under pressure
* Proficient using Excel
