We are currently Hiring for a few Appointed Person/ Rigging Supervisors to join our team at Sizewell B.nAs a Rigging Supervisor, you will be responsible overseeing the set-up of lifting equipment and erections of working platforms along with the supervision of maintenance and repair work of engineering plant and machinery.

Role and Responsibilities:nAscertain job requirements from drawings and/or other specifications.nExamine faulty plant or machinery and to ascertain nature and location of defects.nStudy plant or machinery drawings, technical manuals or other specifications.nDetermine sequence and method of required operations.nDismantle plant or machinery and remove damaged or worn parts.nRepair defective parts, obtain replacement parts or prepare new parts using hand and machine tools.nfit and assemble parts to rebuild plant or machinery.nTest plant or machinery for correct functioning and make necessary adjustments.nCarry out service tasks such as cleaning, oiling and greasing, according to schedule.nPerform all of these tasks in relation to the erection and set-up of lifting equipment and general works carried out.nOperate overhead crane/basic slinging in a safe manner.nInstall or reposition plant or machinery.nModify standard machinery for special purposes.nAdhere to all safety requirements including safety checks of tools and equipment including slings, chains, other grappling equipment, jib, derrick, ropes or other hoisting equipment.nUse all relevant workshops/site equipment associated with job requirements

Suitable Candidates must be willing to undergo CTC clearance or already possess this.nWhat we are looking for:nValid CCNSG Safety PassportnApproved Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3nProven Supervisory ExperiencenPossess IOSH Managing SafelynIdeally hold CTC clearance or be willing to undergo thisnMust be flexible to travel across our sites with digs and travel paid for
