Cyber Security Analyst


As our Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organisation’s digital assets and ensuring the security of our systems and data. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential cyber threats, conducting risk assessments, involved in creating staff awareness documents, and implementing security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse security incidents to detect and respond to potential threats.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation of security measures across all systems and networks.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address security risks.


Requirements:

  • A degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role (1+ years' experience)
  • Strong knowledge of network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM solutions.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CCNA, or CEH are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
