As a Cyber Security Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of security tools within the IT infrastructure.
  • Utilize a range of solutions, including Rapid 7 and Siem, to continuously monitor, detect, and respond to potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and manage incident response protocols to address security breaches and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and work to remediate identified weaknesses.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of more junior members to enhance the capabilities of the wider team
  • Influence wider strategic decisions throughout the organisation to enhance service offerings within the SOC


The Right Cyber Security Analyst will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing Rapid7 or similar security solutions including Rapid7, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure, SIEM, Striem, ServiceNow, Nmap, QRadar, log Rhythm.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, threat management, and vulnerability assessment tool
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management practices, and incident response procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Purview and its role in data governance and compliance (useful but not essential)
