Our client is one of the UK’s most respected and fastest growing luxury fashion businesses. Operating from its own standalone factory a short walk from Manchester city centre, the business is experiencing rapid growth and has ambitions to treble in size over the next 5 years.

The Role:

As the Head Pattern Cutter, you would create initial patterns using Gerber software, collaborating closely with designers to provide creative input. The role involves managing the pattern room team, digitising patterns, making amendments, completing technical documentation, attending fit meetings, and ensuring optimal construction methods are used.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Using Gerber to create first patterns
  • Liaising with Designers on first patterns providing a creative input to ensure pattern work perfectly
  • Managing the pattern room
  • Digistising and carrying out pattern amendments
  • Complete technical documents to accompany patterns
  • Attending fit meetings and leading the team to meet deadlines
  • Working closely with the Technical Product Developers to ensure the best possible construction and finishing methods


What you’ll bring to the role:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working as a Gerber Pattern Cutter within a Luxury fashionwear brand
  • Trained and skilled on using Gerber
  • Hard working with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and experienced in working to tight deadlines
  • Experience managing a team
