About the role:
We are seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team on a part-time basis. This role has become available due to the need for additional support in our intervention programs. The position stands out for its focus on boosting and intervention activities, designed to help every child reach their full potential. As a Key Stage 1 TA, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to support students in small groups and one-on-one settings. You will play a crucial role in delivering targeted interventions, ensuring that all students, including those with special educational needs, are fully supported in their learning journey.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 1.
• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting children with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Knowledge of intervention strategies and experience with special educational needs is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and interventions.
• Work with small groups and individual students to provide targeted support.
• Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
