About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support our Key Stage 1 students in their educational journey. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome language barriers and thrive in their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to Key Stage 1 students, focusing on those learning English as an Additional Language.
  • Tailor intervention programs to help children overcome language barriers and boost their confidence.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure students are making progress academically and socially.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of creative and engaging lessons.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, helping them feel comfortable and supported.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience supporting students with EAL needs is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility and creativity in your approach to teaching and intervention.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, ready to take on new challenges.
