RMS Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a outstanding importer and distributor of packaging products. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join the growing company and provide support by working directly with their current finance team.
This is a fast-paced role; therefore, it is crucial that you can manage your own workload where priorities may change throughout the day. This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
The salary being offered is £24k per annum and this would be working Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 5PM.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Identifying overdue accounts and implementing collection procedures establish con(1)tact with clients to gain payment.
Maintain accurate and up to date notes within the system following all communication with clients.
Approval of orders.
Instigation of legal proceedings on extremely overdue accounts.
Perform credit checks for any new customer accounts.
Cash control.
Process credit card payments, allocate BACS and cheque payments, and raise credit notes.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Calm and confident telephone manner
Knowledge of Excel and Outlook
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to use your own initiative and have a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
ATL 2 Qualification is desirable but not essential.
