Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in designing machines and solutions for automated production processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects, from conceptual design through to implementation and support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical design process for automated machinery and production solutions.
  • Develop innovative designs that enhance productivity, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and create detailed design specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
  • Oversee the prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and commissioning of machinery.
  • Continuously improve existing designs and processes based on feedback and technological advancements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or apprentice trained.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, specifically in automated production processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and automation technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
