About the Role:
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We have multiple exciting opportunities across Warwickshire, Coventry, and Northamptonshire, working within dedicated SEN provisions and schools.
As an SEN TA, you will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties. Your role will involve providing tailored support to help pupils access the curriculum, develop their social skills, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with teachers and other staff to support the learning and development of pupils with SEN.
Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and assist with classroom management.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils as required.
Assist with the physical, emotional, and social development of pupils.
Support pupils with any personal care needs, where necessary.
Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN setting is essential.
A strong understanding of the challenges and needs of children with SEN.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting pupils' educational and personal development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are desirable but not essential.
