Established business founded in 2000, Part of GCA since 2015, it operates both domestically and abroad in the industrial sectors with owned assets and drivers and get the backing of the group in Europe.nThe Transport Contract Manager , which is currently open, will represent Simon Gibson in the South East and will look after one of our major client and strategic contract for the distribution of cement products.
YOUR MISSION :nWe are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in overseeing daily activities and ensuring smooth operations within our South East operation.nRole location : In person South East based
Key accountabilities:n• Regular site visits with our ready-mix customers & maintenance service providers in the London area.n• Daily face-to-face communication with our Driversn• Helping enforce and upkeep a high level of Health and Safety compliancen• Organising efficient small repairs on tanks (mud wings, Lights… etc)n• Work with the head office team in Goole to ensure a smooth and effective operationn• Plan and prioritise sites visits and customer supportnContribute to achieving agreed business targets within the teamnManaging personal time and productivity.nEnsuring that key performance indicator information is provided on time.n• Accountable for the performance of the contracts:nMeeting agreed KPIsnMaintaining compliancenGuarantor of the customer’s satisfaction
PROFILE :nPreferably with a good knowledge and experience of the road transport industry in bulk tankers, It requires a highly professional and confident person to work with own initiatives.nEducation: Bachelor's (preferred)
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar rolen• Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations managementn• Excellent leadership, organisational skills and communication skillsn• Strong analytical abilities with problem-solving aptituden• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Operation Managementn• Strong leadership qualities, you are a team player and have ability to federate.n• Proficient in Microsoft Office suiten• Technical knowledge of road tankers
