We seek a dynamic and experienced Transport Manager to join our client's team in Tilbury. In this pivotal role, you will oversee both Transport and Warehouse operations , ensuring meticulous accuracy in pick & loads before dispatch. Your responsibilities will encompass managing supervisory staff, controlling driver planning and routes across the UK, and maintaining compliance with vehicle licenses .

With a minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial warehousing environment and recent experience in a relevant supervisory role , you'll bring invaluable expertise to our organisation. Your keen attention to detail and impeccable organisational skills will play a crucial role in achieving operational targets , enhancing staff performance, and optimizing stock levels for efficiency.

Collaboration with our Procurement team is paramount for fostering strong relationships with suppliers and stockists , contributing to their seamless operations. Furthermore, you will be tasked with monitoring repair requirements , ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations , and conducting comprehensive risk assessments as needed.

Your role will also involve coordinating stock takes , managing despatch processes , and meticulously analysing relevant data and reports to devise strategic improvement plans. As a proficient communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills , you'll adeptly navigate various challenges and adapt operational strategies to meet evolving customer demands .
