My client is now looking for Registered Building Inspectors within the London area.
As the registered building inspector, you will support and build relationships with clients, acting proactively and offering support on building regulatory plans as well as site assessment and inspections. The RBI requirement for this role is 'Class 2D' and above. Salary £50,000 DOE.
As the Registered Building Instructor, you will be required to:
Inspecting buildings being constructed and/or converted.
Working closely with developers and builders in line with building regulations.
Ensuring plans are compliant and in line with regulations.
Maximising time on site with self-management of your own diary.
Ensuring that all project records are in the database
Ongoing liaison with Surveyors and Management on technical matters to ensure that standards are being maintained and procedures adhered to.
Ongoing liaison with Developers / Clients / Builders, offering technical advice and guidance.
Undertake any other duties as reasonably required and building relationships.Required Experience and Qualifications for the Registered Building Inspector role:
You will be great with clients, technically astute, organised, and self-motivated
Member of RICS, CABE, CIOB, CICIOW
Ability to conduct sites inspections at all stages of the process.
Experience in the construction industry
Experience of plan appraisal and inspection of residential developments within Building Control
Understanding and knowledge of Building Regulations, Associated legislation, and Construction standards.
