Job Title: Building Clerk of Works

A dynamic and experienced Clerk of Works/Quality Control Inspector is required to join our client's team in the Greater London region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing building works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and employer's standards.
  • Identify and report defects, and escalate to the appropriate person as per the contract.
  • Stay up-to-date with building regulations and compliance.
  • Organize snagging and end-of-defect inspections with clients.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building regulations, and fire safety measures.
  • Previous experience as a Clerk of Works, Quality Manager, Site Manager, or in a building quality assurance role.
  • Keen eye for detail and document/drawing review.
  • Good knowledge of building regulations and ability to read construction drawings.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Driving license required.
