As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Estimator with specialised knowledge in facades to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As an Estimator with facades experience, you will be responsible for accurately calculating the costs associated with facade projects, ensuring that they are competitive while maintaining high standards. You will collaborate closely with the design, engineering, and sales teams to deliver precise and detailed estimates that support the successful delivery of their projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for facade projects, including materials, labour, and time requirements.
Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine accurate estimates.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and ensure best value for the company.
Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
Provide value engineering solutions to meet client needs while maintaining project budgets.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents.
Monitor and update project costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure profitability.Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as an Estimator, specifically within the facades sector.
Strong knowledge of facade systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred, but not essential with relevant experience.What We Offer:
