08:00 – 17:30 (Monday – Friday) + 09:00 – 12:30 (Saturdays on rota)
A highly reputable dealership based in the Kelso area are currently looking for a Service Advisor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career with an established company offering various benefits and long-term career prospects.
SERVICE ADVISOR – RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Day to day office administration duties
* Professionally dealing with incoming telephone calls
* Work in progress (WIP) control for workshop
* Deal with customer needs face-to-face and over the phone with a professional, friendly approach
* MOT and service scheduling
* Updating customers with vehicle progress
* Assist with other duties as and when required
SERVICE ADVISOR – SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Proven organisational skills
* Proven administrative skills
* Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
* Ability to work as a part of a team as well as on own initiative
* Computer literate
* Able to work on own initiative and under pressure
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of the automotive industry and of the Autoline computer system would be desirable
