We are currently recruiting for skilled Joiners to join our team, based in the central belt of Scotland. This role will require travel. We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude towards work who are enthusiastic about becoming a part of the M&S team.
Work will be primarily within our Fitout Scotland division. Main skills and experience required:
* Joinery 1st and 2nd Fix
* Dry Lining & Ceiling Fixing
* 3 year's plus in the trade
* Carpentry & Joinery Qualifications
* Clean UK Driving licence
* Proven Joinery Experience: Demonstrated experience in joinery, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
* Technical Proficiency: Competence in using joinery tools and machinery, with a solid understanding of joinery techniques and principles.
* Attention to Detail: High standards of workmanship and an eye for detail to ensure quality finishes.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the course of a project.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel to different job sites as required and adapt to changing work conditions and project demands.
* Team Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other tradespeople.
* Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
* Time Management: Efficient in managing time and meeting project deadlines while maintaining high standards of work.
Preferred Certification
* Industry CSCS card
* Asbestos Awareness
* Pasma Certificate
Competitive hourly rate would apply. Overtime and allowances are in line with CIJC.
Hours of Work – 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on a Friday
