We're seeking a highly motivated Contract Manager to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects in the Huddersfield area.
About the Role:
Overseeing all aspects of assigned contracts, typically valued between £250,000 and £500,000.
Managing project lifecycles, from pre-construction planning and procurement to successful completion and handover.
Ensuring adherence to project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Leading and motivating a team of subcontractors and site personnel.
Liaising effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
Managing risk assessments, health & safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Maintaining meticulous project documentation and records.
You'll be a great fit if you:
Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in construction contract management.
Have a strong understanding of heritage refurbishment projects and the specific considerations involved.
Hold relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., CIOB, RICS).
Are proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2).
Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Are a meticulous planner and problem solver with a strong eye for detail.
Possess a valid driving license.
Salary:
Salary range is between £45,000 and £55,000 dependant upon experience, for exceptional candidates with extensive experience we may have further flexibility within the budget
