We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Construction Consultancy, specializing in comprehensive Cost and Project Management services across various sectors, with a focus on water and wastewater.
As part of the Infrastructure Division, you will work on a recently secured significant framework with a Utilities company, delivering Quantity Surveying services for the AMP 8 Water Better Rivers Programme in the North West.
Essential Requirements:
* Work in the UU Warrington or Kendal/Penrith office up to three days per week.
* Ideal for someone local to or able to travel to Kendal/Penrith.
* Initially based in the Warrington office until the Kendal/Penrith office is operational.
* Experience with NEC3 or NEC4 ECC main Options A, C, or E for project delivery, administration, and management.
* Proven track record in managing and delivering post-contract projects from contract award to final account.
* Ability to manage and administer contracts in accordance with contract requirements, including compliance with communications, payments, compensation events, and programme submissions.
* Strong budget and cost management skills with a proactive approach and a solutions-oriented mindset.
* Ownership of accurate commercial reporting.
* Proactive risk management with effective mitigation plans.
* Development of strong client relationships.
* Support for internal business development initiatives.
* Effective stakeholder management.
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience in water or wastewater sectors.
* NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager accreditation.
* Ability to make well-reasoned, sound, and timely decisions based on the needs of the situation, clients, and team members.
* Experience with contract management software, such as CEMAR
