Our client is a leading boutique advisory firm specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions within the infrastructure sector. Based in the heart of London, this firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality strategic advice to a diverse range of clients, including leading institutional investors, infrastructure funds, and corporates. With an impressive track record of successful transactions across Europe, they are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a talented Associate.
Role Overview:
As an Associate, you will play a crucial role in the execution of M&A transactions and advisory projects. Working closely with senior team members, you will be involved in every aspect of the deal process, from initial client engagement to deal closure. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain significant exposure to high-profile deals in the infrastructure sector and to develop their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Execution: Support senior team members in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, prepare presentations, and contribute to the development of client relationships.
- Market Research: Conduct industry and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential transaction targets.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to support transaction analysis and decision-making.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation of transaction documentation, including information memoranda, pitch books, and marketing materials.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA or CFA qualification is advantageous.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, preferably within the infrastructure sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling and valuation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Analytical Skills: High level of attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a small team.
