Marine & Logistics Leader - Offshore Wind
Location: North East

Duties will include:  
Be part of the Operations and Maintenance leadership team on the largest offshore wind farm in the world.
Lead the Marine, Logistics and Facilities (MLF) management team, as well as manage multiple large-scale Vessel and Facilities contracts. You will be responsible for all logistics related activities, including port services.
Be responsible for establishing appropriate management system and work processes and prepare logistics requirements in SAP, warehouse, etc.
Hold responsibility for:
Vessel and aviation contracts, and associated milestones.
Port Service Agreement with Port of Tyne.
Completion of the O&M base construction.
Contracts related to logistical operations, and security & facility management.
Hold the interface towards construction project for O&M Base usage and vessel sharing.
Ensure that the Dogger Bank operations and the Port of Tyne base have sufficient vessels and logistics set-up and support.
Act as the owner of the O&M Base facilities and be responsible for associated facility management.
Support Emergency Response Plan and be part of the Incident Commander team which involves being part of an on-call rotation.
Have the role of Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), working with Dept of transport and ensuring ISPS is implemented.
Responsible for spares & material management at site, goods manifesting including dangerous goods

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or another relevant subject. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
Significant experience in a similar maritime logistics role, ideally within offshore wind.
Extensive management experience of a warehousing and logistics team. Proven experience of developing staff, and effectve process and procedures.
Extensive experience of managing vessel contracts, warehousing, stores, and logistics.
Familiar with SAP material handling systems – essential.
