WasteRecruit are pleased to be supporting a leader in the circular economy in their continued growth, as they look to recruit a Regional Account Manager. The company currently has a customer base of over 600 household-name businesses which have product-related environmental obligations.
The role is an integral part of the Operations Team who are responsible for:
* Delivery of WEEE, Batteries and Packaging compliance on behalf of the company’s UK members.
* Managing Local Authority WEEE and Battery contracts.
* Managing PRN purchasing.
* Managing supply chain for WEEE, Batteries, and Packaging.
* Building and delivering takeback services in the UK.
* Compiling and analysing operational data and producing business KPIs to shape strategy.
* Developing and implementing the company’s UK operational database.
* Developing relationships with Local Authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support business development.
Main duties
As Regional Account Manager, you will:
* Ensure the company is represented operationally in your assigned area.
* Ensure operational issues and the requirements of collection points are dealt with in a timely manner.
* Effectively manage day-to-day supplier issues and escalate as appropriate.
* Ensure existing takeback services in the UK are managed and delivered.
* Design, implement and follow-up new takeback services.
The role is home-based with extensive travel throughout the UK, including to the company’s offices in London and Warwickshire when required.
