About the Role

We are recruiting an Area Manager to oversee our independent retirement housing developments in the Warwickshire and Worcestershire areas. The successful candidate will ensure we deliver a first-class management service combined with exceptional customer service, achieving targeted profitability.

The Area Manager will undertake regular visits within the Midlands, developing customer relationships with external landlords and residents while supporting their team of Lodge Managers. Duties will include controlling expenditure, producing budgets and accounts for presentation to the homeowners, negotiating with contractors and overseeing performance.

The Area Manager will also support their team's professional development by carrying out regular performance reviews, leading on recruitment processes, and induction of new colleagues. They will build internal relationships with our support teams based at our Ringwood Head Office, providing support with various aspects of the role.

The role is based from home with extensive travel across the region. The successful candidate will have proven working knowledge of leasehold property management and building structures, with a recognised property management qualification and membership of RICS or IRPM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel extensively across the region
