You'll be an Senior Agile Delivery Manager for either our Hybrid Cloud Services team, developing cloud-based tooling as part of service development, or our Retirement Digital team, modernising end-to-end services that ensure citizens over state pension ages have the digital tools they need to live a life without unnecessary hardship, managing projects, as part of Europe's largest digital transformation, that will affect that way that millions of UK citizen explore, request and use essential DWP services.
We are looking for enthusiastic Agile Delivery Managers who will be comfortable working alongside the Product Manager and with technical and data professionals, covering a wide breadth of activity which focuses on creating services focused on improving citizen experience.
You'll be a trusted member of our multidisciplinary Agile team, offering your own experience and insights to projects and learning from others in the project delivery and wider digital communities in DWP.
Your essential skills and experience:
- Experience of delivering software in an agile environment in multiple phases.
- A strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Ability to promote a culture of psychological safety in teams, managing team dynamics.
- Experience of coaching and developing others, taking ownership of your own development.
- Exemplary leadership skills with a track record of motivating high performing teams.

You'll be based in your choice of one of our brilliant digital hubs in Manchester, Blackpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
We also have all the tools and tech to work flexibly. We operate a hybrid working model.
We offer competitive pay of up to £63,517 per annum.
Additionally, a Digital Allowance of up to £12,231 per annum is available for exceptional candidates, based on our assessment of your skills and experience.
You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.9%, worth up to £18,356 a year.
You'll get a generous leave package starting at 26 days, rising to 31 over time.
Plus all the usual bank holidays, and the option to take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi leave.
