Key Responsibilities:nService existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.nMaintain healthy business growth in the product portfolio subject to economic conditions.nFocus sales efforts by studying existing and potential clients.nSubmit and check orders by referring to price lists and product literature.nKeep management informed by submitting activity and verbal reports.nMonitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.nRecommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.nResolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.nContribute to other members of the sales team by promoting other products to clients during customer meetings.
Skills and Experience Required:n4-5 years of sales experience plus knowledge of the relevant markets: X-ray, Radiology, and Theatres.nBusiness awareness/consultative skills to hold credible discussions at a senior level, with a substantial number of high-level customer contacts.nSuccessful track record in major account management or new business sales.nComputer literate.nAbility to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance.nUnderstanding of the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness.
