What you’ll be doing:nDeveloping, deploying and continuously improving a suite of asset lifecycle management processes for Barrow Site, Facilities & Infrastructure projects; including Requirements Management, Verification and ValidationnEnsuring asset lifecycle management processes are aligned to and comply with recognised industry good practice and appropriate national and international standards, including ISO 15288 for Systems Engineering and the BSRIA Soft Landings FrameworknProviding technical leadership, coaching, training and ad hoc support to Project Managers, Project Engineering Managers, and other end-user stakeholders on the implementation of the asset lifecycle management processesnMaintaining understanding of industry best practice and ongoing developments in Systems Engineering and Soft LandingsnManaging integration of multi-discipline engineering and other technical and non-technical teams who interface with the Asset Management System from across multiple projects and programmes
Your skills and experiences:nEssentialnComprehensive knowledge of established Systems Engineering and Soft-Landings processes/approaches to large scale infrastructure development; specifically in relation to Requirements Management and Handover/AcceptancenBroad knowledge of capability development and management approaches and techniquesnBroad knowledge of design, engineering, maintenance, commissioning, operational, and asset management processesnBachelor's degree in STEM subject or a degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)nDesirablenBroad knowledge of systematic approach to training principlesnBroad knowledge of Nuclear and Radiological engineering and regulatory requirementsnBSRIA Soft Landings Level 1nAssociate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP)nMembership of a relevant professional engineering body (e.g. Chartered Engineer)
